Welcome to pssper! This guide walks you through all the key features so you can make the most of your experience.

Getting Started

pssper is a dating app where you chat with an AI friend who helps you understand yourself, then connects you with real people based on genuine compatibility.

Signing Up

• Sign up easily with your phone number.
• For security, we verify your identity through Cloudflare Turnstile and a one-time password (OTP).
• pssper operates a one-account-per-person policy. Only one account per phone number is allowed.

Onboarding

After signing up, you'll go through a quick onboarding process:

1. Location consent
2. Notification preferences
3. Basic info (name, birthday, gender, email, app mode, interests)
4. Preference selection (identity, conversation style, attraction)
5. AI character selection
6. Community guidelines agreement
7. Profile photos (up to 3, optional)

AI Friends

pssper features 5 unique AI characters:

• Mori 🐢 — The calm guide. Leads deep, comfortable conversations.
• Milo 🐶 — The warm listener. Empathetic and always on your side.
• Luna 🦉 — The rational coach. Offers logical, practical advice.
• Kiki 🐒 — The playful spark. Brings fun energy and humor.
• Remi 🦊 — The honest mirror. Gives candid but caring feedback.

Conversations blend naturally between free talk, scenario-based discussions, and ice-breaking coaching.

Profile Management

Your profile is the first impression others see.

• AI Profile Suggestions: Your AI friend suggests profile content based on your conversations. You can accept, edit, or reject each suggestion.
• Photos: Upload up to 3 photos. Use clear, recent photos of yourself.
• AI Insights: View personality traits your AI friend has discovered through your chats.

Discovery

Browse other profiles in the Discovery tab and Like or Pass.

• AI-recommended profiles appear at the top based on your conversation data.
• Blocked and deleted users are automatically filtered out.
• Set filters for distance, age, and relationship goals.

Matching

pssper's matching is powered by AI analysis of both users' conversation data and personality traits.

• You can only have one active match at a time (focused 1:1 matching).
• A private chat room is created automatically when a match is made.
• Both users must accept for a match to be confirmed.

Chatting

Once matched, enjoy real-time 1:1 messaging.

• Ice-Breaking Assist: When conversation stalls, AI suggests natural topics (only visible to you).
• Emotion Stamps: Send AI character emotion stamps alongside text messages.
• If you feel uncomfortable, you can report or block the other person at any time.

Post-Match Features

Deepen your connection with these features after matching:

• Balance Game: Fun "this or that" questions to learn more about each other.
• Date Plans: AI suggests date ideas tailored for both of you.
• Appointment Reminders: Set meeting dates and get notified.
• Date Reviews: Share your thoughts after meeting and get AI relationship insights.

Account Management

• Sign Out: Go to Profile tab > Settings to sign out.
• Delete Account: After requesting deletion, there's a 30-day grace period. Log back in during this time to cancel the deletion.
• Language: Switch between Korean and English in Settings.
• Block Management: View and manage your blocked users list.
